STOP PUSHING THROUGH PERSISTENT PAIN
Feel strong, supported, and confident in your body again.
Root Cause Bodywork

You already know something needs to change.
This is where that change begins.
You've tried to push through.
You've seen practitioners, done the stretches, taken the breaks.
And the pain keeps coming back.
That's because most approaches treat the symptom.
This work goes to the root.
Over 9 years and hundreds of clients, Heidi has refined an approach that helps uncover the underlying patterns contributing to persistent and unresolved pain—so clients can move with greater ease, confidence, and trust in their bodies.
How It Works
Each session combines hands-on bodywork, movement assessment, and pain neuroscience to uncover the patterns contributing to your symptoms. Together, we'll identify compensation patterns, areas of tension, and nervous system responses that may be contributing to your symptoms—then work to create meaningful, lasting change.
Sessions take place on a floor mat. Wear comfortable, loose clothing.

“In order to change, people need to become aware of their sensations and the way that their bodies interact with the world around them. Physical self-awareness is the first step in releasing the tyranny of the past.”

Pain-Free Pilates

Most people come to Pilates because they are dealing with persistent pain, tension, or movement limitations.
Others have been told they need to strengthen their core.
Some are afraid they will make things worse if they move the wrong way.
This is Pilates for people who want to move with confidence again.
Every session begins with understanding where your body is right now and what it needs to feel safe moving again. We start with breath, awareness, and learning how your body engages and moves. The springs support you, making movement feel possible again without fear or bracing.
Once your body feels safe, we build strength, stability, and resilience from the inside out.
This is not about pushing through pain. It is about creating the conditions for your body to move with confidence again.

Artist/Teacher

Art has always been part of who I am, not something I do, but something I am.
For years, healing bodies took center stage and my art practice took a pause. The creativity never stopped. It simply found new forms. I learned woodworking and welding to build my own classical Pilates equipment. I studied anatomy through touch and movement. Every body I work with teaches me something about form, structure, and expression.
Now I feel myself being called back to the studio.
I am developing a new body of work exploring the sacred dance between body, spirit, and soul. I am also dreaming up weekend workshops where people can reconnect with their own creativity through batik painting, watercolor, printmaking, ceramics, and hand beaded earrings.
I hold a BA in Fine Art, an AS in Graphic Design, and spent years teaching gifted and talented art students. But more than anything, I have spent a lifetime making things with my hands.
Art and healing have never felt separate to me. Both ask us to slow down, pay attention, trust the process, and believe in what is not yet visible.
“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.”
- Pablo Picasso
